Clinical Hypnosis
Take back control of your thinking, body, and behavior.

This is a specialized treatment process that aids in achieving goals around weight-loss, anorexia, smoking cessation, anxiety, stress reduction, sexual problems, and other life issues. It helps you relax and focus in on the problems you are trying to resolve.

The feeling is one of comfort, safety, and security. Using hypnosis can help you make gains quickly, although that is not true in all cases. It depends on the individual. Clinical hypnosis is not magic. It is an effective form of therapy that helps you achieve the results you want. Most clients using hypnosis will also be taught self-hypnosis. This gives you the control you are looking for and lets you reinforce what has been done in the office. The feeling of competence in being able to soothe yourself and remain focused, provides a new view of problems and solutions.

Who can hypnotize you?

  • Many people can hypnotize you, but you should be careful about who you allow to help you. Non-professionals such as stage hypnotists can hypnotize you, but what do they know about mental health or habits?
  • The simplest answer to this question is nobody should hypnotize you for a problem they are not trained to treat and licensed for treating without hypnosis. All hypnosis at our center is done by licensed mental health professionals, who belong to accepted state, regional and national organizations.
